I think i'm also is introvert person. this is not good to me. So, to change that attitude i need to more communicate with another people and be active in class. I hope i can do it. Fighting!! hehe. The Special Thing Called LOVE

Girls, this is actually a posting in my blog. Since it has some relevance to what we have discussed in class today, I thought of letting you share my thoughts. After that, may be you can tell me what you understand by this special thing that we call LOVE.

LOVE. Such a simple word yet carries a complex meaning that stretches beyond infinite definitions, bearing stricking contrast from one person to another. Though people may define and perceive LOVE differently, the world has unanimously agreed that it is an entity that stirs human emotions and affects people's lives. With love, we laugh and with it we also cry. The world is full of scars left by this thing we call LOVE. Throughout the history of the humankind, we observe how LOVE can drive men or women, young or old, rich or poor, kind or evil to act irrationally. LOVE that can excite and stimulate human desires can create tension and leave tremendous impact on people's emotions, thus, contributing to wonderful experiences to be shared. The early creation of human beings taught us that LOVE is an integral part of our being. We can observe how LOVE destined Adam and Eve to be inseparable. Because of the fall of Adam and Eve, some people blame LOVE,labeling it - a profane entity - stripping it of its rights to be in heaven. As such, some people go to the extreme of shunning LOVE, while some approach LOVE with full caution because of its destructive power. What happened to the Helen of Troy and Cleopatra are popular classic examples. On the other hand, a lot of other people cherish LOVE, guarding this God given treasure with all their life. What about you? Where does LOVE fit in your life? I just want to share with you some of the love concepts in some of the world great literatures. But i will only do that after you tell me your understanding of LOVE. What is LOVE to you? Would LOVE hurt you? Whatever love means to you, it doesn't matter for LOVE is universal and with its presence, anything is possible.

The Road to Success is NOT an Easy Path

Girls,

How are you today? Did you manage to go to the lab? I know that the 'longman' project is a very challenging task as the only place you can access the programme is, ptsl lab. What makes the matter worse is that the computers are very limited.

I know that at times, it can be very tiring and irritating when things don't turn out the way you wanted it to be. You wake up very early in the morning...full of enthusiasm to start a day...you take the earliest bus to the library and when you get there...you see a long queue of students waiting to go into the lab. Some of your friends who are there before you, are now sitting and waiting in boredom. When you look inside the lab....all of the computers are booked!

Gosh! How do you feel at that time? Angry? Frustrated? Depressed? Pressured? Worried? So you decide to join the queue and stare into emptiness. What is in your mind at that time? Do you feel like giving up...and are you morally down? But what choice do you have? On one end, you have to complete the task given by your lecturer. On the other end, it would just be a waste of time to leave the queue and take the next bus back to your hostel. You say to yourself, "God! when is this torture going to end? "

Girls, I completely understand what you have to go through just to get a pinch of God's knowledge. I have undergone worse scenarios when I was a student. At that time, I also had to struggle with the computers that could just crash anytime they wanted. We didn't have the privilege of having computers that would autosave our documents. I remembered once, for five consecutive days, I would wait outside the lab at 6.55am. I was always at the front of the queue. When I got in, I straightaway started on my work. I stayed there until 9pm, just taking short breaks to eat and pray. As I was about to print my documents, suddenly my computer went blank. I tried to remain calm and prayed to God that my assignment would still be somewhere in the computer. I restarted my PC but unfortunately, my file was nowhere to be found! Yes, I was frustrated...I cried and cried to myself. I didn't know who to blame and I had no choice. The assignment had to be submitted. So I pulled myself together...gathered all the strength that I still have and started doing it all over again. The outcome of all that....is one of my best papers.

Those were the days girls. When I look at it now, I cherish those moments. To me, that is the beauty of being a student. It is the hardship that you share with your friends that makes you strong. Through these challenges, you will get to know yourself better...you will know your limits and what you are capable of. Success waits only for those who are willing to endure. Remember, this is all a part of your 'ibadah. For every steps you take to find knowledge, you'll be rewarded. For every sweat you shed, waiting under the hot sun for the bus to come...you'll be rewarded and for every smile that you give when your heart is burning with anger, you'll be rewarded.

This world is only for those who are willing to persevere cause when the going gets tough...the tough gets going! What do you think girls....are you willing to face the challenges to reach success?

Congratulations!

Assalamualaikum and hello girls,

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for your success in creating this blog. I believe that this is a very interesting project that will allow us to interact with each other without having to meet face to face. It is also a good ground for you to practice writing in English. Don't worry about making mistakes....we are all learning. But what is more important is for us to put in more effort and to never give up. I always believe that Allah is Great and that He will always reward those who work hard.

I would also like to thank those who have contributed in turning this blog into a reality. Though this is my first posting, it does not mean that this is also my first time looking at the blog. Actually, I check this blog everyday but due to some technical problem, I didn't manage to sign in. Now that everything is ok, I hope to see many of you in this blog.

Keep up the good work girls.
